  1. Be smart

You've always known that tights make your legs look longer, right? Well, now you should also remember that a striped floor makes a room look deeper and longer than it actually is! To enhance the effect, use a large mirror and position it in such a way that it provides the space it lacks. Furthermore, choose translucent furniture for any piece of furniture – chairs, sofa stands, tables or decorative pieces usually cast from acrylic or Lucite – these will fool the eyes into thinking that the space will continue for miles. They give the room endless surfaces without moving it visually. If you are not a fan of glass furniture, go for pieces of the same color (or a shade or two darker / lighter) as your walls. These will take up less visual space.

  1. degradation

So little significance has been given to the routed spaces when in fact, clear spaces provide visual depth of space. De-clutter is not only the cheapest "styling method" but it is also a way to get good energy into your home (ancient Chinese philosophy by Feng Shui claims that de-cluttered spaces attract healthy and good chi (energy) and bring prosperity to your Home). Not to mention how easy you can find everything in your home – when things are placed in the right containers, spaces and storage room / cupboards, life is much easier! Buy a hanging shoe organizer for each wardrobe and use it to not only have shoes there, but stuffed animals, magazines, beauty items, whatever you want. Install shelves as well.

  1. Paint it up!

Experts say that light walls visually add to the room and open it greatly. Bright walls can be a little cold and sterile unlike darkers that make the room feel cozy, warm and comfortable, but they reflect and multiply light and that's what you need for your small room. The best colors to choose from are beige, eggshell, cream, light gray blue and lavender.

  1. Reorganize what you show

Unfortunately, when you have a limited space at your disposal, you simply cannot display all the items you love. With small spaces, less is really more. Since you love them all, gather them together and then divide them into collections. Make each collection a show bit for a particular season, event, occasion, etc. That way you get to show them all at some point, without too much clutter in your space. Also, when there are not many pieces, all your decorative elements will appear more dramatic as it is not lost among all others.

  1. Storage Furniture

Storage furniture must be the best invention ever, at least when it comes to small rooms! These pieces are extremely functional but their design does not lack the oomph you want space for you. A bench with storage space for your child's room is a perfect storage for your children's toys, stuffed animals and such, while an entrance bench will be a convenient place to store things you have no idea where to put, such as umbrellas, shopping bags, seasonal items and other accessories. It keeps bedding or throws out of season until you need them.

  1. Light it up

A well-lit room looks bigger and more welcoming. Adding lamps in the darker corners of your house, installing recessive lamps and floor lamps will definitely open the room and expand it visually more than you know. You can always consult a professional electrician what you can do to brighten up the space as much as possible. Installing dimmers is another way to make the room look bigger. In addition, these light types bring the surprising element to all spaces!

Small spaces are not that difficult to work with, the point is to just know all the right tricks! And now that you do – we hope you will create a fantastic space for yourself!
