Spring decorations – cute ways to decorate your place for spring

Spring is finally here! Time to unpack these winter materials and bring out the bright pastels that we all love. It's time for new beginnings, light and airy decoration and especially Easter. Here are some cute ideas you can think of when decorating your home for this colorful time of year.

cherry Flowers

In nature, cherries and other fruit flowers last only for a short time. In your home, they can last forever with this craft! Take a dark pink and light pink tissue. Cut them into 2-4 inch, five petal designs. Then adjust the darker flowers so that the petals do not match with the lighter ones and twist in the middle. Take a 3 inch floral thread and wrap them. Finally, use a hot glue gun to secure them to a bare branch and repeat! For a more realistic look, use different sizes. Place in a flower vase and use them as a centerpiece in the room. Simple, huh?

Pastel twigs

If you are on budget or in small apartments to rent in Summerside but do not want to miss the decoration this is for you! Go out and grab some twigs. Then paint the pastel colors. You can arrange them however you like and use them either in a flower pot or glue them together and attach them to the cloth and hang them on your wall!

curtains

Find light material in any spring color you prefer and hang it as new curtains or even on top of your existing neutrals. For a best spring look, find a curtain with geometric design on it.

Butterflies

Make a wall piece of handmade butterflies. You can color them however you like and make them big or small. Arrange them with other wall decorations you already have, or they can stand alone. It may take some time depending on how many you want. All you need is a little craft paper, scissors, art materials and safety pins to attach them to the walls.

wreaths

These lovely decorations are available in all different styles. You can buy some or make your own. When you make your own you can use flowers, ribbons, twigs, eggs … pretty much whatever your imagination comes with! Use them inside or outside, but don't forget to hang one on your front door.
